Art Matters 12-inch charity exhibition

Our latest charity 12-inch Canvas Exhibition at the EJD studio at Gravelly Barn, Braughing, is almost ready to welcome you.

Many of you have bought 12-inch blank canvases and created some amazing work using a mind-boggling variety of mediums, from paint, watercolour, charcoal, pencil, and crayon to needlework, collage, photography, sculpture, tapestry…. and many more besides. 

We have sold out of the 500 blank canvases and the completed work will be put on display and offered for sale at £50 each. All the money raised will be going to charity. This year our chosen charities include: the Princess Alexandra Hospital Breast Unit at St Margaret’s Hospital, Epping, theHead and Neck Cancer Foundation and Samaritans.

The exhibition will be open on Friday July 19 to Sunday July 21 and Saturday and Sunday July 27 -28. Opening times are 10.30-17.00 (10.30-16.00 on the 28th). Teas, coffees, cakes, wine and refreshments will be available on all days and there is ample free parking.

We are planning live music from the Ware Ukulele Band on Saturday July 20. Time to be confirmed.
