Quiz Night

Our first quiz at Gravelly Barn, which proved challenging for us, the organisers, and the audience. Nine rounds of tricky questions, Dingbats, Guess the Airline, Heads and Tails  and a practical challenge to make something to do with bikes from silver foil.

The inspiration for the quiz was the up-coming Ride London bike ride which George and his friend Seb will be taking part on July 30. They are raising money for Breast Cancer Now and the British Heart Foundation and as a result of the night we will be sending £550 to each charity – a grand total of £1,100.
A big thank you to everyone who came along, attempted to answer the questions, bought raffle tickets and tried to guess the number of sweets in a jar. Also to Caroline and John Swain for providing most of the answers, Steve Norbury for being co quiz master with Chris and all those who helped behind the scenes.
